About the Artist
I made my first real sculpture in a college art class. Unable to walk away from the sensual experience of creating art by removing material rather than adding it, I stayed up all night working on my first stone sculpture.

My Process
I express the emotions and experiences that move me through the movement in my sculpture. Rarely working from specific imagery, I am considered a “direct carver.” I take a concept or image that comes to me and simply draw a general idea directly onto a stone, and begin chipping away.
Commissions

Commissioned works may take a few different forms: existing designs, evocations of existing designs, or new pieces that find their genesis in emotions, thoughts, or themes.
